5-0 Pilot
A few months ago we sold a script to NBC for consideration for a TV Pilot. The network loved the story and they were big fans of the writer Greg Coolidge and myself. The show is about an 18 year old boy who graduates from The Police Academy after High School and becomes a local Police Officer. One hitch.... my Dad is the Chief of Police and me being undersized for my age I have never been quite the "Apple of his eye". I come from a long line of Policeman, my Great Great Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Grandfather were also Police Chiefs... so the pressure is on to match up. 5-0 is a

comedy so you can only imagine the situations I get myself into trying to make big cases out of the small ones my unsupportive pop gives me. Well, as a part of the network pitch process my Dad, Brother and I shot a "teaser trailer" ourselves. We filmed everything in Maryland. My Brother Aaron was the "DP" and my Dad was the "Editor" we all share directorial credits. I want to give special thanks to Chris Fenton and Walter Hamada of H2F Entertainment for having the faith in Pinkston Productions to produce the short. Hope you enjoy as much as we did making them.
