We spent a couple hours shooting some footage before I left. Here I am getting mic'd by the sound engineer. I am sure Nicole is going through the same stuff back in Irvine. I was expecting to switch places with a guy so I really didn't know what to expect. I also though they may send me someplace more random like Alaska or Arkansas.

Before we left for the airport the crew had me give them a tour of my house and my newly remodeled bedroom. I was trying to stay focused but all I could think of was the challenge waiting for me in California.

We had a lot of snow on the ground at home and I kept thinking about Nicole coming from sunny warm southern California and if she would like it here. On the left the Sarah and Blake had me performing some of my martial arts skills out in the front yard.

My feet were freezing but the cold was the last thing I was thinking about at the moment.
