My
Mom, Dad and I arrived 30 mins before I went on the air so we had time to meet
Grant and get to know each other. Our parents seem to hit it off as well as
Grant and I did. Well it was Showtime and
Radio

I
got to listen to the first 15 mins from the control room. Grant went over some
2002 Olympic sports highlights then it
was
time for me to go on. I was a little nervous at first but watching how cool
and calm Grant was at the microphone made it easy to relax. Grant and David
both fired questions about training, school and traveling. They have a group
of kids called "The Herd"
that
are in the "Box" with us that are mic'ed and participate in the round
table like conversation. After two 15 min segments of Martial Arts questions
I thought my time on the radio was up, but Grant asked if I would stay for the
entire two hour program and be part of the herd. "Boy would I " I
said, Mom and Dad said sure!
