June 8th I got a tip "The GAP" was looking for teenage martial artists to perform
in a commercial. So I sent out my video that day to California. On Tuesday June
12th a production company in Hollywood called and said they had seen my tape
and were making Flight and Hotel Reservations for me. They wanted me there IN
THE MORNING. That's right I had about 12 hours
before
I would be in a studio on Sunset Blvd. auditioning for a National TV commercial.
The production company and casting company said they were sure I had the spot.
BUT the folks at the GAP wanted a different look than mine.
But you know what
it's OK, it's better than OK. I got to meet one of my idols Mr. James Lew
pictured to the right. I made a really good friend Adam from the production
company shown below with me and my Dad and I made some very valuable contacts
that will surely lead to something soon. Special thanks to Lisa and Kevin.
Congratulations to one of my best friends, James Solis, you will be seeing
him in the ad, you're awesome James.
